JOB SUMMARY:

The Junior Interior Designer will help the Senior Designer to curate, source, purchase inventory to install in our client’s home as well as assist with installations as necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Ability to interact with clients on a professional level.

*Direct and coordinate crews, receiving department and warehouse staff.

*Be aware of project budgets and help prepare estimated budget spreadsheets.

*Work with vendors to get pricing, availability and prepare orders.

*Assist with Instahome orders, etc.

*Work on interior design and Instahome projects up to a certain budget.

*Assist the senior designer with selections, changes and alternative furnishings for projects.

*Coordinate fabrics, rugs, accessories, tile, etc. to complement each other and match the client’s requests.

*Maintain the design aesthetic and level of detail MBH is known for.

*Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

Degree in Interior Design or similar field preferred

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

*Good working knowledge of design and design styles. Spatial planning.

*Must have good attention to detail

*Able to keep deadlines and work independently

*Must have own transportation

*Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel)

*Ability to work in an open environment with different weather conditions

Pay Range in Los Angeles

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
