“In the home design process, the most important thing is the personal connection with the client and a deep understanding of the process. Equally important is the relationship with subcontractors and suppliers. Knowing how to orchestrate everything. Professionalism ultimately comes mainly from experience and the number of projects the designer has undergone. Aspiring for perfection and knowing that the home construction process is a perfect synergy.
“The project I chose to showcase is part of a penthouse apartment that I designed in a preserved building in Tel Aviv, located near the bustling cultural centers of Tel Aviv. It is an elegant and meticulous project that allows for pleasant hosting and leisure time even at home. The apartment was designed for a couple who are culture enthusiasts and enjoy hosting friends and family. Accordingly, there was a need for a large functional kitchen that allows for luxurious and comfortable hosting, while maintaining a clean and elegant design line. Proper use of private carpentry work turned the Tel Aviv gem into a contemporary work of art.”
Wisdom, Sensitivity, and Love – Tami Sharir
Tami Shrir’s studio has been involved in interior planning and design for 24 years now, “during which I have accompanied many private projects. In recent years, the studio has specialized in planning and designing schools and offices.
“The slogan that has accompanied me throughout the years is ‘With wisdom, sensitivity, and love, a home is built.’ This is my belief regarding every relationship system – with myself towards my inner home and with my clients towards their inner home and its translation into the physical home. The transition in recent years to schools and offices is an expansion of my belief and the sensitive and personal approach, with expression and consideration of detail within the whole.

Reflecting Client Needs – Mor Nir, Studio 305
Interior designer Mor Nir, Studio 305: “The most important thing for me as a professional woman is to create an environment that perfectly reflects the client’s needs and aesthetics. This can be summarized in two main points:
1. I must deeply understand the client’s desires and their daily needs at home. Every design needs to be personalized to fit the lifestyle, character traits, habits, and varying needs of family members or household occupants. I focus on building a deep and honest relationship with the client, creating an extraordinary partnership between us.
2. Functional planning: Long before I dress the space in all the beauty that the world of design has to offer, I have the professional responsibility to emphasize functionality and practicality.”
“In the studio, precise and personalized functional planning is the essence of the business and the foundation for creating a perfect and pleasant living experience. When the space is planned correctly and reflects the needs of its users, it perfectly suits their daily life flow, creating a sense of comfort and tranquility. Functional planning ensures that the space is not only beautiful because beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that it fulfills its role in the best possible way.

Optimal Planning and Design – Shiri Heller Schwartz
Interior Designer Shiri Heller Schwartz: “As an interior designer, achieving optimal planning and design for the client can only happen with a deep analysis of their specific needs and a full understanding of who the client is. In my studio’s working method, during the initial analysis stage, I delve deep and discover my clients’ lifestyle patterns, dreams, and what small to large elements make their home experience a perfect and precise personal one for them.
“I believe our home is an extension of ourselves, reflecting those who reside within it. Therefore, my role as a designer is to tailor the home’s character to its owners. I think most people nowadays understand that our home greatly influences our behavior, feelings, and emotions. Therefore, the initial assessment process must be the basis of the entire journey towards the dream home.”
“The project I chose to present is a combination of meticulous planning tailored to the clients’ needs, incorporating clean design lines with surprising yet refined color schemes. The boldness demanded by the clients in color choices brought much charm to the home, yet we still managed to maintain an atmosphere of calmness and tranquility in various spaces.”
Practice and Design – Shany Shevach
Interior Designer Shany Shevach: “The process of planning and designing a home is a deep and meaningful one aimed at enhancing residents’ quality of life. In this process, two things are most significant to me: practicality and design that knows how to express the family’s or individual’s uniqueness living in the home.”
“Design, in my view, must take into account your personality, habits, personal taste, and daily use of every space, so that design serves you and not vice versa. The studio specializes in interior design, proper space allocation, design that connects material to spirit, all while emphasizing the needs of the people living in the home. In my design, I adhere to clean lines, aiming to create spaces with space, movement, natural light, and thinking outside the box. I love to listen to you, get to know you and your story, and give it expression in the space called ‘home’.”
