Persona 3 Reload Details Velvet Room, Town Facilities

Atlus released another batch of images and details for Persona 3 Reload. The latest update features looks at the new combat uniforms and Persona powers for party members Aigis, Ken Amada, Koromaru, and Shinjiro Aragaki, as well as information about the Velvet Room, town facilities, and network features. In addition, Atlus released its third behind the scenes video featuring voices from the game and previous Persona 3 releases. The latest video features Grant George (Shinjiro in Persona 3), Justice Slocum (Shinjiro in Persona 3 Reload), Alejandro Saab (Akihiko in Persona 3 Reload), and Allegra Clark (Mitsuru in Persona 3 Reload).

The Velvet Room is a special intraplanar location that only the protagonist can visit. It lies between dream and reality with its residents Igor and Elizabeth. Igor (voiced by Kirk Thornton) is the Master of the Velvet Room and the only one who can perform Persona fusions. Meanwhile, Elizabeth (voiced by Tara Platt) is Igor’s assistant and becomes very curious outside life outside of the Velvet Room, asking requests of the protagonist to learn more about it.

 

 

Persona fusions allow players to combine different Personas into new ones. In addition to the standard two-Persona fusions, players will also be able to unlock special fusions that use three or more Personas. Players can register their current Personas in the Persona compendium, this allows them to resummon that Persona at the state of their registration for a monetary fee.

Meanwhile, the city of Port Island where the game is set features a variety of establishments that players can use in locations such as Paulownia Mall, Iwatodai Strip Mall, and Tatsumi Port Island Station. Players can buy items, work part-time, and improve their social stats. Tatsumi Police Station serves as a weapons shop, thanks to the resident police officer being aware of the Dark Hour and lending his support to SEES. The Aohige Pharmacy can be used to purchase restorative items necessary for exploring the massive Tartarus dungeon. Mayoido Antiques is a specialist shop that lets players trade items obtained in Tartarus or by creating Personas for special weapons or other rare items. Finally, Be Blue V is a spiritual wellness shop that lets party members remember skills they might have forgotten.

 

 

Persona 3 Reload will also include similar network functionality to recent Persona titles. Players will be able to see what other players are choosing to do during the available time periods after school, at night, during class, etc., giving them ideas on what to do next.

Persona 3 Reload is the latest remake of PlayStation 2 title Persona 3. The game sees players controlling a new high school transfer student. They become involved in a series of incidents surrounding the temporary anomaly called the Dark Hour, using summoned beings known as Personas to fight against beings called Shadows. Persona 3 Reload will release worldwide on February 2, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
