Rudy Giuliani’s Property Hidden in Lockup Revealed in Full List

An inventory of property owned by Rudy Giuliani has revealed the contents of his apartment in New York City, which he moved ahead of being forced to hand the apartment over to two election workers he defamed.

The former New York City mayor and longtime Trump ally was ordered to surrender his apartment and belongings after he was ordered to pay more than $148 million in damages for the defamation of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss.

Giuliani had circulated an edited clip of security footage that he claimed showed the pair committing voter fraud in Georgia during the 2020 election. A New York court found that Giuliani’s comments had significantly impacted their security and livelihood, ordering the former lawyer for President-elect Donald Trump to pay damages.

However, Giuliani missed the court deadline to transfer his Manhattan apartment and its contents to a receivership. Attorney Aaron Nathan said that Giuliani had left nothing but dishes, rugs, and “inexpensive” art behind in the apartment, valued at $6 million.

A spokesperson for Giuliani said that he had “made his possessions available” and that Freeman and Moss’ attorneys were using the case to ruin Giuliani financially.

Newsweek reached out to a Giuliani spokesperson via email for further comment.

Documents released by Freeman and Moss’s legal team on Wednesday included an inventory of over 200 items removed by Giuliani ahead of the deadline, provided by his storage facility.

The list included a series of awards and trophies that Giuliani won, as well as framed oil paintings. His TIME Person of the Year award was also on the list.

Giuliani appeared to have moved all the furniture out of the three-bedroom apartment, with the storage facility documenting leather chairs, headboards, mirrors, TVs, beds and bins.

An extract of the list reads:

  • Picture of John Daly / Wrapped in Paper Pads – 1 unit
  • Picture of Train Yard & FDNY Fire Fighter – 1 unit
  • Rudy Awards / PBO Small Box – 1 unit
  • Rudy Birthday Prints Total of 5 – 1 unit
  • Rudy Study Room / Electronics – 1 unit
  • Rudy’s Personal Books / PBO Small White Tote – 1 unit
  • Rudy’s Wires From Desk / PBO Plastic Tote – 1 unit
  • Skeleton / Halloween Decorations – 1 unit
  • Small Cabinet / Chest / Wrapped in Paper Pads – 1 unit
  • Small Media Room Electronics & Miscellaneous / 3.0 Ctn – 1 unit

Equipment for a media studio was also stored, along with campaign merchandise from the 2020 Trump campaign, in which Giuliani was a key player. Pictures of baseball star Mickey Mantle and golfer John Daly were also removed from the apartment.

Giuliani’s golfing equipment was listed in the inventory, along with a statue of an elephant and an item described as a “9/11 picture.”

According to the legal team, the list proves that “Mr. Giuliani and his associates did move a substantial amount of his property out of the New York Apartment while the motion for turnover was pending.”

The document also reported that Giuliani owed the storage facility nearly
$100,000 for the moving and storage costs.
