Best January home fragrance deals

From diffusers to candles, hand cream to bath foam, we’re hoping to save across NEOM’s entire range. Having used their products in the past, we can vouch for the long-lasting smell of their candles, made with luxurious and natural essential oils.

Christmas Wish Scented Candle (3 Wick)

What to buy: Our seasonal pick would be their Christmas candle, with notes of mandarin, cinnamon and tonka bean for a comforting festive fragrance, which would make a perfect festive gift. For a slightly more high-tech way of making your home smell lovely, go for the Wellbeing Pod Luxe, a mains-operated, remote-controlled essential oil diffuser, designed to fill larger rooms with the fragrance of your choice.

More of our favourite brands to shop this January

Although it’s already one of the most affordable places to shop for interiors and homewares, Habitat does join in on Boxing Day sales making it a great time to get an even better price across beds, sofas, lighting, storage, picture frames, storage, tables and more. They currently have up to 50% off selected furniture lines, and 20% off certain pieces with the code DEAL20.

Habitat 60 Larsa Solid Wood Dining Chairs, red, set of two

Habitat Chiltern Spindle Double Wooden Bed Frame

Why we love it: For under £500, you can’t get much better than this stylish Habitat bed frame. Reminiscent of Ercol pieces, there’s a certain mid century cool to it that looks at once laidback and inviting. It comes in three neutral finishes, the oak which is shown here, plus black and walnut, all of which would pair well with either plain or patterned bedding. The Chiltern is made from solid wood and an oak veneer, meaning it isn’t solid oak, but that’s to be expect from a bed at the lower end of the price spectrum. There is some self-assembly required, but again, this is an effective cost saving measure, so if you have one eye on the purse strings it could be a good way to go.

What to buy: We love the plush Julien Velvet Armchair, and the sweet Blaire Bobbin Side Table in a vibrant red.

As one of the high street’s best shops for interiors lovers, we’re hoping to see Oliver Bonas participating the sales again.

Tortoiseshell Glass Essential Oil Electric Aroma Diffuser

Cotton Pyjamas, Honey Checkerboard

What to buy: There’s plenty to fall in love with at Oliver Bonas, with its bright patterns and fun designs which always make excellent Christmas gifts. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for discounts off their stylish furniture, such as the marshmallow-like Silla Leather Armchair.

Frequently asked questions

While many retailers will launch their sales on Boxing Day itself, there are some exceptions. John Lewis, for example, will launch their online sales on Christmas Eve, while their in-store deals won’t start until the 27th December. Other brands, like Piglet in Bed, Panda, and Habitat, have already launched some brilliant deals, with perhaps even more to be added by Boxing Day.

Lots of sales will continue into January, with more products being incorporated into the sale into the new year, as the best Boxing Day deals will likely sell out. However, dates do vary from retailer to retailer, so do check the small print to avoid missing out.
