Layering is key to making a fall palette sing. Sue Jones recommends mixing textures and lighting: ‘Think about dotting different types of lighting around the room at various heights. Incorporate a variety of lamp bases with sculptural features, shades with nature-inspired patterns, and, of course, candlelight.
